23rd June 2013 – Sir Reg Gunstone’s Inaugural VCS Ride
Yes it had to happen, Sir Reg (It’s only a matter of time) is organising a ride suitable for all abilities! Starting at reg’s 10:30am on the 23rd and returning for 2:30 for a BBQ (If you did Anglesey you won’t want to miss the BBQ) Please let Nic or Reg know if your coming, because Burgers don’t make their selves.
14th of July – Pam’s Soup & Cake – Bike Ride Included – Including AGM
Yes Mrs Laurens will be providing the Cake and Soup at Chez Laurens, if you’ve not experienced this before it’s a must! And Nic will sort a 30 mile ride south west of Shrewsbury. Book Early as we have to order Clotted Cream for the Scones………….
3rd of August 2013 – Cambrian Century Midnight Ride
Bicycles By Design will once again be hosting their annual Cambrian Century Midnight Ride to Barmouth on Saturday 3 August. Last year almost 50 riders rose to the challenge and raised just short of £5000 for the work of the Hospice. This year, they hope with your help to raise even more. September 2013 (Possibly 6th, 7th and 8th) – Coast to Coast
The Big One! from – Dip your front wheel in the Irish Sea at Workington and cycle across England to Sunderland parking up in the North Sea.

Cost will depend on numbers and we will do our best to keep the whole thing as cost effective as possible.
8th September 2013 – Great Big Bike Ride
The annual Great Big Bike Ride returns on Sunday 8 September 2013 with routes of 25km, 50km and 100km. The event will once again run from Shawbury. After feedback from last year they have decided to do the routes back to front as a hill at the end of the 100km route was unkind. More info at Severn Hospice website:
